The concrete foundations were poured this morning and the blocks for the walls have arrived on site. The builder suggested that they build the walls in 100mmm Concrete Block 50mm Cavity and 100mm Block with an insulated plasterboard on the inner leaf. Sounded good to me so that’s what will be done. It also means that there will be no chasing out needed for the electric cables as these can be hidden behind the plasterboard.
